Spend a day immersed in color formulation and swatching with National Master Trainer Dana Sova and Regional Master Trainer Dennis Taylor. Based in Denver, Colorado, Dana is the proud owner of Alchemy & Reverie, a Davines exclusive salon space. Fueled by a never-ending commitment to education, Dana has built her career on a foundation from some of the most revered education teams in North America. Learning from Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, Davines Education, Sally Rogerson and Kaizen Education as well as completing the Post Graduate Program at Vidal Sassoon in London, U.K. She became a Davines Local Trainer in 2012, Davines National Master Trainer in 2018 and became a part of the National Cutting team in 2022. Dana is dedicated to elevating the craft of hair coloring and cutting through hands-on education. She believes deeply in providing guidance and support to stylists at all points in their journey— encouraging others to stay inspired and find balance. She strives to help stylists expand their skill set and see their own work as transformative craft. By aligning with Davines, Dana is able to share her passion for creating a more sustainable lifestyle while excelling in a creative and fashion-forward industry. Based in Oakdale, Minnesota, Dennis became a part of the National Cutting team in 2022 and became a Davines Regional Master Trainer in 2023. His inspiration comes from light and shapes all around. By contemplating how the play of light changes the way we see color and how different shapes can be incorporated into hairstyles, he aims to deliver beautiful, low maintenance styles for his clients. He was drawn to Davines’ commitment to education and sustainability, and he has spent 3 months in India educating salons and stylists on Davines’ behalf. As a trainer, his goal is to create a collaborative, flexible, and energetic learning environment. In exchange for his peers’ investment of their time, he aims to deliver quality education in both cut and color. He hopes to continue pursuing international education opportunities.
